Prosecutions reported on twitter in June, reveals these guys didn’t:
Prince of Caerleon Indian takeaway, Station Road, a Caerleon takeaway manager has been fined £600 after admitting to six counts of failing to comply with food hygiene regulations. The charges included failing to keep the premises clean and in good repair and condition, and failing to minimise risk of contamination among food.
A Bath convenience store has been ordered to pay £19,932 after being prosecuted by Bath & North East Somerset Council for offences breaching food safety rules. Martin McColls Store on Argyle Street, Bath, on 26 September 2011. The company pleaded guilty to four charges including failing to keep a food premises clean.
A restaurant owner has been fined £5,000 following a successful prosecution by Crawley Borough Council Environmental Health Officers. The food business operator, Niru Ratnam, was fined in respect of her business, the ‘Sagar’ restaurant, she pleaded guilty to eight offences including poor standard of cleaning.
A Banff fast food trailer has been successfully prosecuted by Aberdeenshire Council for failures under food hygiene regulations. Mr Colin Duguid, pled guilty to two charges one of which related to a failure to ensure the premises were kept clean and maintained in a good condition and repair.
